# Adapt MTB

> adaptMTB designs and sells mullet conversion kits for mountain bikes. Our bike yokes and suspension links convert 29er frames to mullet setups (29" front / 27.5" rear), improving descending performance, switchback handling, and technical terrain capability.

## What is a Mullet Conversion?

A mullet MTB conversion replaces the stock bike yoke (suspension link) to allow a 27.5" rear wheel on a 29er frame. This lowers the bottom bracket to stock height while improving rear wheel maneuverability on technical descents and switchbacks. Riders need a 2.6" wide tire minimum and a rim at least 30mm wide for proper tire profile.

Current compatibility for the Ibis Ripmo Mullet Link:

- DVO Jade coil spring shock
- DVO Topaz air shock
- Fox Float X2
- RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate
- Ripmo AF model up to 2024

Not compatible with:
- Fox Float DPX2
- V2S frames (V2S is not compatible with V2 Mullet Link)
